Day Visitor Tickets Available Sat and Sun
Yay! We’ve done it. We’ve had so many requests for this, and this year we’ll be offering one day tickets to cater for those who can’t make it for the full weekend. Miombo Magic is a weekend festival, and our goal is to have festival-goers camping on site for the duration of the weekend. But we recognize not everyone can do this, so this year we’ll cater for day visitors too.
Changes to Parking Arrangements
We have limited parking on-site. The addition of day tickets means we are expecting more people. More people means more cars. So, to ensure a smooth festival experience for everyone, we’ll be limiting cars on-site to weekend ticket-holders only. Day ticket-holders will park off-site, and will be ferried up to the site in a regular shuttle bus, running throughout the day. The off-site location is only 100 metres from the main entrance, and is a short but sharp uphill walk for those who feel like some pre-festival exercise. Day ticket-holders who absolutely have to drive on-site will be able to buy an on-site parking ticket for $20.
Revised prices for children
Miombo Magic is a family festival, and we encourage festival-goers to bring their kids. To make it easier for you, we’ve reduced the ticket price for children. Children under 6 years old come for free, and children 6 to 12 years old are $20 each, whether they’re in for the day or the weekend.
